I need new shocks on my 96 Disco I,but cant afford 650 for the Old Man Emu setup after just buying the truck and getting ready for a cross country move. Can I run the Old Man Emu shocks with the stock springs for a little while.

Sure you can and even that will make a huge difference in how it drives. Make sure you order the H.D. OME shocks, not the standard ones.
