Need New Tires
I really like my Kumho M/T's. They were pretty cheap, not too noisy, and I haven't had any problems with slipping. I have not tried them in deep snow yet but they do well in rain and light snow.
As stated by a couple of other folks, the General Grabber AT2s are excellent tires. Have had them on my truck for almost three years and they wear well, hold the road well, and are not noisy at all. A lot quieter than the stock Goodyears (which are junk).

i bought mine from here, have about 8000 miles on them, and they have worn well so far. with a 20,000? mile warranty and about $100/tire shipped they're a pretty good deal

Also - Caleb, I live in Chicago and have seen a lot of snow over the last couple of years and have not had issues on ice and snow with the Grabbers. Some pretty deep snows and plenty of opportunities to get stuck because I either park in an alley (which if you know Chicago the alleys are never plowed) or on the side of the street street where the snow/ice never melts. Have not been stuck yet.
That said, nothing - not a truck or a tire - makes you immune to sliding on snow and ice and there is a lot to be said for using common sense and slowing down.
