Just to restate this, if both rear wheels are off the ground and you spin one, the other wheel will spin backwards and the driveshaft will not move. Remember your diff is open. If you want to test it, put only one wheel up and put the t-case in neutral (remember to chalk the wheels) and spin the wheel.

What about a frozen E-Brake? Maybe something inside it gave out and is frozen??? The E=Brake on mine is connected to the drive shaft.

But as mentioned above, try placing ONE tire on the ground and ONE tire in the air. Try to spin the in-air tire. Will the drive shaft move now? Must hold ONE tire still.

FZ34 and SS are spot on. The driveshaft won't turn until one wheel on the same axle is arrested either by someone holding it or on the ground. The opposite wheel always rotates in the opposite direction if both unchecked in the air. It's the way the diff and planet gears work. Check out the RAVE manual which will explain all.

Yea talked with Disco Mike here in Denver for a while yesterday! He said the T-case was toast......Got a lot done on it yesterday and so far so good. Best thing I did was blast a full can of PB on everything and let sit for a day then blasted it again. Even the Semi-rusted cross members, Cat and Muffler bolts came out without a struggle. Now I that I have access to everything I'm ready to get the tranny and t-case out. Any tips are welcome!
