Well I was doing some things today to figure out my codes, per mike. I fired it up and there was a high pitched while/sequel from the throttle body. I am posting a video to see if anyone can catch it. Is that the sound of a vacuum line, or something on the throttle body. I took it apart, cleaned it, checked all the connections, put it back together, and still she whines... Any thoughts.

Remove the serpentine belt, start the engine and listen for the noise again.

 

I suspect a bearing somewhere but searching for a vacuum leak I usually use a unlit propane torch. Just crack the valve and move it around the area in question. When you get close to the leak the engine will rev up a little.

 

That is crazy. But it does make since.

 

Old mechanic trick, works like a charm.

 

I watched a mechanic at a shop use a Bic lighter moving it around close to the vacuum connections....and it worked. Unlit of course.
