Needs new BCU

I reckon you'll find there's a dry joint somewhere on the PCB due to heat or vibes or both or possible a loose component floating around. In all honesty I have never come across a BCU that has failed (I'm certainly no electronics expert though) but many issues I have experienced in the past on equipment have resulted from auto soldered dry joints mostly on PCB's.

Did all the connectors look good? I know sometimes it's not the BCU, but the wiring connectors themselves. I had an issue with a SLABS Unit once with 3 Amigo's and eventually I tracked it down to the actual connector at the SLABS Unit. Certainly keep the old one as like mentioned earlier ya never know.

I had exactly this happen a couple of years ago. The SRS light stayed on and the code was for the driver airbag. Bought a replacement airbag and installed it. Didn't help.
I was looking into an overlay harness even though I didn't understand how the wiring from between the airbag and the DCU could have failed. I had the airbag out and was checking continuity in the harness and found a short in the connector at the DCU end.
So yes, sometimes it's not the components or the wiring that's the problem, it's the connectors or at least the pins in them.

The truck ran great on the way back. Big thanks to Paul Grant for sending me a good BCU quickly.
With my Autocom I saw some logged faults from the TPS and Coolant Temp Sensor, so changed those out while I was waiting for the BCU. The Temp sensor was reading 10 degrees or so low.
But it was a tough week, I got a car wash at the gas station as I was leaving, and the damn thing bent my wiper arm. So I had to head back to my parents and bend it back. One thing after another.
The truck is starting and running great, the shop married to the car perfectly so far, but I have to check all functions.
I got 1.5 mpg better on the way back from the sensor changes, and after turning south after Madison got 3 mpg better, but had seafoam in that tank.
I am going to change the MAF too, it has 80k on it.
