Default New Battery slays radio and turns Disco Canadian 🙄

Hey Guys,

I recently put a brand new battery in my D2. Upon firing it back up... my radio shows no signs of life and my cool/warm air screen reads incorrectly (seems to be reading in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit)

any help with with this issue would be greatly appreciated

I think it is a matter of holding the rec and off button at the same time for about 5 seconds or until you hear a beep.

Have you pressed the volume button and does that do anything? Is it asking for a code?

your radio probably need code. To change temp setting hold recirculate then power sametine until it change.

Changing the temp setting is simple, so simple you don't need a video....BUT here's a video anyway. >

Thanks so much for the info fellas. Looks like the temp change is an easy fix. I’ll give the radio a whirl when I get home. It is not asking me for a code as it’s just completely blank screen. I’m hopeful that the fix given will do the job ☘️

My radio code was hand written in the owners manual.

Thanks so much Fellas...! Everything is up and running... funny part is, I didn’t need a security code to get my radio back on point. Just kept playing with different combinations and the volume on/off button... next thing you know it fired up with the Land Rover Logo and turned completely on. Boom
