Default New brake and shift boots.

I can't believe Land Rover used "pleather" for trim. I purchased some leather from Ebay, "real' leather, that is, and my rig looks like a million bucks!! A bitch to assemble, but so worth it. The stitching adds luxury to the utilitarian look of the discovery.

I replaced mine in real black leather with white stitching, both the handbrake and the low range shifter. It took a couple of hours work re-using the wire frames and gluing the leather onto them but worth the effort as the old original LR gaiters were worn out after 14 years where they crease. I got mine from Ebay for about £10. Genuine LR gaiters were 5 times the price for plastic leather look.

They mostly come in black leather with various different colours of stitching, white, red, blue, black etc.
