Default New code that's driving me bonkers P0150

i keep getting this damn code and sometimes it will through the service engine soon light and sometimes it won't. It occurs usually within 15 mins of start up and once I clear it, usually will stay cleared for a 45-55 min commute. O2 sensors are good and no leaks found. Wondering if it might be the fuel purge valve

nope. They were cleaned professionally when I did the top end rebuild and I only use chevron or shell premium 93. They might have 500 miles on em

im thinking the brake fluid leaking might have messed up an o2 sensor and all the other crap that was down there before I got it. Might have to break down and get the walker o2 sensors

Got a new code today p0174. I think it's the upward o2 sensor passenger side BC the volatile is low as hell running.

i had this and replaced both O2 sensors and no more. P0150 bank 2 sensor 1, PO174 is a lean condition bank 2 probably associated with the bad passenger 02 or mass air meter. You can check them with a propane torch and volt meter set to 2 volts. I did change my mass air meter also used a delphi from rock auto, works perfect.

good to know. I've been watching the ultra guage and I think my front passenger o2 sensor is kaput and the drivers rear is on its last leg. I noticed it was a lean condition and been tracing everything to make sure there is no loose connection or place for air to come in

Well I got the damn code again 2 days ago. The walker o2 sensors I replaced are still under warranty and sending it back to get a replacement. No leaks or anything on that side and it was working like a champ. It has me perplexed of why all of a sudden it just stopped working. I know if you unplug them, the ecm will work off of what it thinks it should be. Anybody else had any issue like this lately? I'm about ready to put the o2 bungs that angle out to make em last longer and trick the engine. Anybody else done that option?

it is on my list to do on Tricky Dick but, I have done it before on a Subaru. It works and you can pick up a set from eBay for $20

I've got them on mine. Doesn't throw any codes even without cats, but I'm adding cats back. I'm going to have to find some O2 harness extensions though because my cats are going to have to be further back because the long tubes sit so close to the frame.

That said, I wouldn't put them on the front O2s. It will send the wrong readings to your ECU and you'll get the wrong amount of fuel.
