New codes P0743, P0753, P0758, P0705 and P1612
now we're talking! now go get two or three of these from your local auto parts store

get that beast cleaned up. both sides. the one side is a circuit but its held to the backing with rivets, dont try and remove the rivets, just spray the heck out of it till dirt is dripping off of it then keep going. then let it air dry. when its dry inspect it for more dirt. if you need to be gentle and use a qtip to get some of it off. then use the spray to clean up all the connectors. if any of them look corroded you can put some baking soda in it and add a few drops of water. let it work. then rinse it out with electronic cleaner.
then get a can of this, one should be enough. order on amazon.

coat all of your ECU's in it after they are clean.
get under and pull the fill plug on the transmission. see what color the fluid that drips out is. might also want to check your oil and your gear oil in the diffs. they are all probably contaminated.
get urself one of these

start checking the fuses to make sure they are all in working order.
check the grounds under the hood, especially the ones along the fuse box and on the block. pull the CPS (it's probably full of muck and will need some of that nice electronic cleaner spray)

So I did a little electrical testing and this is what I have so far. Checking the TCU harness the Battery power made light as well as Ignition power. And on the XYZ harness I got no light at all. Not sure what this means if anything at all.
in the rave there is the electrical library under discovery 2. page 80-93 of 705 is where you need to be looking.
Out of all the things to fumble with. I can view the basic online manual at landroverresource but the download is giving me "Files not found", so I cant access the library. No library on the online version.

just right click the discovery 2 link and save link as. and it will download.
are you sure that noise is from the fuse box and not the computer behind the fuse box? there are 3 bolts holding the fuse box in place. undo them and you should be able to swing the box out of the way to access the computer.
