haha.. nice sound effects.

I think this should just be made a sticky and put in the 'New Member' Section so whenever anyone says 'I'm thinking of purchasing a Discovery II, what should I look for when buying it?' they can just tune into this.

lol.. I wonder if the garbage cans in the background have a hidden meaning and don't quite know what to think of the tree?...

Love it!

Pretty decent video, but the ABS stuff isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

This guy has put out some good videos. Go back and watch some, you’ll be inpressed and get a good laugh at the same time.

The ’99-’02 4.0 engine pictured doesn’t have a power steering pump. The 5-speed pic shows manual heating and A/C, not automatic climate control. I knew that was the case in some non-NAS trucks, but I didn’t know they were sold w/o power steering.

It's a decent video. It covers most of the same bases that any 'new buyer' articles would cover, but he keeps it nice and short! Pretty pessimistic tone overall though, which he tries to cover at the top with a blanket "but also, they're pretty good off-road." Would be nice to touch on some more experience-based anecdotes, but as he said he's not an owner, he just flipped them for parts

It was pretty reasonable, but my bet is if you did the same video about a lot of trucks of the age of these you would get a similar result. Before buying mine I did a lot of research, pretty much everything has issues of some sort, we have a few more because the of the aluminum engine and "luxury features". The worst of it is properly maintained and looked after they seem to be reliable as anything else of this age. But getting there sure can be a challenge.
