I bought a 1999 Discovery II last night for $700. She has 140,000 miles on her, is mechanically sound, but needs some love in the interior and with the sound system. However fist need is tires. I'll be getting new ones installed this weekend.

 

Welcome aboard. Many here will advise you to do the 60,000 mile service list in the stickys.
You'll have many things to repair; nearly all of them have been tackled by one member or another. Remember: search is your friend.

Nice! The tires will cost as much as the Disco. Haha. That could be said of a lot of things you put in a Disco.

The tires are going to be $300 more than the Disco, but when I bought it I knew I'd have $5000-7000 into it by the time I was done.

 

Just got A 2004 last week first oil change transfer case 90 140 change wires change fuel filter change one o2 sensor change and so on.
