great deal -- i was thinking last week that is about what i should have paid given the money i have been spending on parts and tools. i got a d2 se7 a few weeks ago for $2700 with 150,000 miles and it still needs a bunch of work. i too have been using this forum for help, am very addicted to reading and studying as i am new to all of this. i am about to finish replacing the rear driver side hub assembly this weekend as well as rear brakes (EBC). good luck with the green pig...i am guessing its a green disco.

Good luck with all of your repairs matty. I'm like you, just learning as I go. Gotta love 1,500 + pages in the Disco workshop manual. I can't wait to get started. Chancho's not green but just might be in the future. Probably will be "El Chancho" for the time being.

Once you give a car or a boat a name you cannot change it, its bad luck.
Its going to sound pretty silly when I call my zebra striped Disco the "Storm Trooper", but hey...thats her name.

You're right "El Chancho Verde" will always be the name.

Also, storm troopers wore black and white just like zebras.
