Greetings all. I just purchased a 2003 Disco II after owning a '56 and '72 Series Rover. I used information on this Board to check it out and the advice was great. I have a couple queries for the members, though; Can the same method to correct water in the tail lights be used on the front headlight unit?; and, where is the best place/source to get a spare remote key (only received one that worked and a blank). Any help and additional advice is greatly appreciated.

Regards, Art

Yes you can drill holes in the light . I have them in mine
The think the best way to sort out another key fob is to buy one from a parts reaper that has the code with it. you have to have it programmed by someone that has the proper tool/ Computer . You will also need a key blank to get cut . I have a nanocom and it will do it , others will as well . Or you can take the quite costly approach of mine a new one altogether.

Thanks Dusty, I drilled the holes and all appears good to go. Thanks also Abran. I'm trying to track down anyone locally who might have the necessary equipment/skill to do the programming. So far, no luck. I'll let you know.
