I just did the same thing and this had me stumped for about 3 months with this P0130 code, getting terrible gas mileage. Make certain you clean the drivers side front 02 (female) connector very well. Look up in female connector and see if there is green corrosion. Spray it with electric contact cleaner. Use Qtips to get up in there. You could also have a NEW bad 02 sensor. Swap one out. p0130 means bank 1 which is your drivers side on the fuel rail. I had to search landroversonly.com for a lot of this, since it seems our site is lacking on definitive answers on the issue. Where is Spike & DiscoM when you need them?

Good question. I have not seen Mike make as many appearances on here as of late. Spike is still here I believe but I think he is probably getting ready to move on. He mentioned selling his Disco on facebook and upgrading to a newer Range Rover so who knows. But yes this dam code seems to be a gremline and ironically it resurrected on my truck on my way home tonight after nearly a month of no trouble codes. It literally just comes then goes for awhile. Ive spent a couple hours researching the code and even tried the cigar smoke test but no luck finding the problem yet. I just clear the codes and drive on.

Engine Code: p0130
Land Rover Engine Code: P0130 = O2 = sensor circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1) Front sensor LH bank stoichiometric ratio outside operating band.
Click to Process more Land Rover Engine Codes here
Bank 1 is driver's side in the USA.
You put in a crap or junk O2 sensor or you got a dud.
Put in a brand new Bosch and try again.
