Why was the heated front windscreen turned off to start with? Just curious. Looks like an awesome tool!

Hi Jason,
will the Total be able to diagnose grounded circuits, relay or sensor switches that are blown? Thanks in advance.

I bought one as a back up tool for the shop. Just beware that you need extra dongles for different models. I tried to go into the BCM on an LR3 and got over 40 faults, some that were hard faults as in I have to attach another tool to remove them. Each additional dongle is $40-$70.

As a first impression it seems to be an ok tool, but definitely not "pro" quality. You get DTCs with the standard explanation found online for the code, but no steps for diagnosing or finding the fault.

If you get it buy the dongles at the same time as shipping is $30 a dongle, BTW, The word DONGLE seems weird to me...

I can say 100% that the new Hawkeye total does code D2 remotes if you have the factory serial number tag with both lines of code.

Jayson,
Curious about scanning 3 amigos. Will it tell you where exactly the faults are located?
Thanks
