So, as expected when the offending hub was replaced the spurious three amigos went away.

Well, not so far and the KVR semi-metalics squealed like mad last night on the trail when they got wet. (waiting for EBC's now)

 

so what your saying is when you replace the bad part the lights turns off i thought you had to have it reset by a tech with a computer

 

There is more than one failure mode for three amigos. This one is a transient failure that resets when you reboot the computer, it does not throw a code at all it's just that it received too many spurious signals to continue. The one where it hard-locks is more than N sensor failures (say disconnected sensor) over N period of time. That being said I do actually have the computer interface for the vehicle too.
