new hub?
I have a discovery, automatic, diesel 2001. the following warning lights came on: hill descent, abs and traction control.
Took to my 4x4 garage and they replaced a sensor. Ok for a day then all lights on again. Garage think it is now a replacement hub needed which is expensive. Has anyone else had this happen? Should the garage have been able to tell it was hub from start instead of replacing a sensor?
thanks

How many miles on your truck and has it been used hard off the road?
You can have 2 things causing that problem, a bad wire harness, which is known to happen, or a tired hub that has just enough movement to mess up the speed densors signal.

I'm certainly not an expert but I had the same experience with my vehicle. After the 3 lights occurred, I needed a new hub and harness. Bought the replacement hub on my own and had local rover shop install it. It got rid of the 3 amigo warning lights for about a month, after which I needed a new sensor. Looks like we had the same experience, except reversed. I'm hoping the lights won't come on again because I will then need a different sensor replaced. It all feels like trial and error to me, but I am by no means an expert. Good luck with yours!
