I've installed a brand new water pump last year and now it's leaking out of the weep hole by the bearings. I'm not sure about the provenance of the part, b/c it came with the car and I was told I need to install it. Could be some cheap chinesium eBay item.

It's bit crazy that it went bad after about a 1500 miles. Is there anything that I should be checking? Like the fan being unbalanced or something with the belt?

Any advice?
