I'd just be using it maybe every other weekend and sometimes to the beach when weather permits. He's having the brakes done and I'll of course have it inspected (haven't pulled the trigger just yet) any questions I should ask the mechanic? Also, do they make a navi for it? or do I need to get a whole new (ugly) head unit? Prefer oem.
Check everything for leaks. If it is going to sit, replace all of the fluids when you get it. Check the VIN against the range for bad oil pumps, and replace the front driveshaft. You can buy a Tom Woods or have a shop replace the u-joints and centering ball with units that can be greased. It will pop off and slap the tranny out if this is not done.

Pretty sure you can get a NAV unit and have it programmed in, but it will have to be from an 03-04.
