Default New to me 2003 Disco II

I just purchased a 2003 Discovery 2. I am trailering it home tomorrow, I purchased it from a tow lot. The P.O. drove it 45 miles while it was over heating. It would have just been a water pump if he would have stopped. But he abandoned it at the tow lot and now I am going to replace the motor and have a 2003 Disco 2 with 130k miles for less than $2000. All that needs done is a couple of paint repairs, the motor, and clean the P.O. junk out of it.

I am unclear on your pricing...

Are you saying you purchased a D2 with blown motor and a replacement motor for under $2,000 ??

Or did you buy a D2 with a blown motor for under $2,000, but still need to spend money on a replacement motor?

You can't share pics from photobucket without paying for an account.

Ok sorry let me clarify. Yes I purchased a 2003 discovery for $500 and have a line on a motor for $1200. I also realized photobucket changed I am on another forum ran by the same company for my classic ford and that is how it used to be done. Is there a free way to do it now?

Imgur.com works great for free. You don't even need an account.
