I just picked up a 2000 disco2 with 160,000 miles. Picked it up at a repo auction for 600 dollars. Car Fax shows three prior owners each having it for 4 years then sat in the repo lot until I bought it. I was able to drive it home 120 miles had a bad drive line vibration, three amigo lights and a check engine light,after getting under it the front drive shaft has two bad u-joints. I found some maintenance and repair paperwork in the glovebox showing 1-new cylinder head and both head gaskets in july of 2014. I still don't have the check engine codes, my snap on red brick won't communicate with it, sees it but no data? and my local parts store is a joke. I did order a new front shaft and a Autel AL619 code reader, hopefully I can get that to work with it. Wish me luck.
