Newbie and Disco2 owner as of today
We own a LR3!!! Bought it because we needed a nice family car that wasn't so Huge! I am new to the LR experience and I must say I have been very pleased. So...because of the new addition to the family I needed a reasonably priced preowned vehicle. With some searching I ended back up at LR to purchase a 2002 Discovery SE7.
I was able to bring the truck home tonight and noticed some drops of oil. (not freaking out because it is a used truck) but a little annoyed that the dealership didn't lift the vehicle to check for leaks....not to mention that it was certified (LOL).
Anyways I am here tonight trying to figure out other problems that I might encounter. The best part is that I have two left thumbs so fixing is out of the question for me, but I don't like to be mis informed when I talk to mechanics.
Any feed back would be much appreciated

i think oil leaks are normal. maintinence is your best friend. and i strongly encourage you to beat up your Rovers on a real 4x4 trail.
