Hey guys, ive been reading your forums for a while now and and happy to report i am now the owner of a 2000 Discovery II.
Ive had for a couple days and am already in love.
One thing that i needed some help on is the shoulder seat belt on middle back seat. The shoulder strap is in a locked position and i cant
get in slack in it. It looks like someone has forced the seat up and there is a ton of pressure on the strap. If i fold the seat down i can get some play in it, but
it will not unlock. Has anyone had this issue? Or does anyone know how i can get in there and unlock it
Thanks
wes

congrats. I have not had to deal with that problem there so I can only say there is a release latch on the regular shoulder straps. If you can get to the area try some graphite to lube it. it may allow it to release. The ton of pressure thing sound like the cause, but it could be crap on the lock as well the graphipe may help. The only other idea I have right now is to check in the shop manual and you may have to take it a part to fix the problem. I hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff
