Default New Member Intro: 3rd Rover in 15 years, new to me Discovery 2, Project.

I purchased this 03 SE from a forum member here. It had lived outside in N Carolina so the paint needed some wax and the plastic fenders were in rough shape. This is my 3rd Rover and 2nd Disco 2.
It was pretty dirty inside and out so first thing was to get a full detail on it so I could see what I was working with. I knew it was a 1 owner truck and mechanically good. The detail revealed a near perfect exterior, interior and engine compartment.
I also knew that the Michelins that came with the truck needed replacement and that the headliner was sagging badly.
I ordered a set of 265/60/18 K02's and so far I'm very happy with them.
I replaced the 4x4 boot and had the headliner replaced with black to add a little more contrast.
New factory mats, rear mat & center caps.
Getting a window regulator fixed and alignment done on Tuesday and I'll be done for now.

Plans for the future:
Replace brakes with British Atlantic slotted package
Replace suspension and add 2" lift.
Replace plastic fenders

Okay, I'm way confused. First you make reference to North Carolina and then you say you took it to a shop in Minnesota. Which is it, are you in Minnesota or in North Carolina?

I purchased it from a member that lived in NC, had it transported to my home in MN and had the work done here in MN
