Default New member looking for advice on disc purchase

Hello everyone

I am brand new to the site and I have been contemplating buying a Diso for quite a while now.Well the time is now nearing when I will be making my purchase. My question is this.Is there certain years which are better to look for than others? I plan to lift mine eventually and put different bumpers and a winch on it.I am going to do light to intermediate off roading and will be using it for alot of hunting.

I have not looked at what the differences between the disco 1 and 11 are,so is there a certain one of those that is better suited for this? or does it not really matter?

I manage an automotive service/tire store and I used to be a tech.So I am not to worried about repairs and upkeep,as long as I dont have to repair it all the dang time. There is obviously no fun in that.

Last but not least hello to everyone this seems like a great site.

Thanks....Brian

DO NOT spend more than your budget, you will need to spend close to another $1,000 getting the truck up to par after you buy it.
And do NOT buy a extended warrenty.

Which ever one you buy is now up to you.
I love my DI, others love their DII's.
It all comes down to personal preference.
