New owner help on a 2003 disco11
Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and just bought an 03 disco 2. I have two questions if anyone could help id appreciate it. ONE-the driver side window has a semicircle gear type looking metal piece about the size of my hand that had fallen out of place causing the driver side window to be stuck and not able to roll down, i can still hear the motor turn for the window but it does not work.......any ideas what I need to do and how much it will cost??
TWO-there is a button on my dash to the left of the stereo that has the rover pictured from the side, with the rear lifted and an arrow pointing up.....I have no idea what that button is for, but when i press it, i see the same image in orage on my gauge pod.....haha, stupid question, but as I said I just literally bought the car........any help will be greatly appreciated........my email is watchmann123@yahoo.com also

The icon with the up arrow at the rear of the car is part of the self leveling suspension system. This button allows you to manually raise the rear of the vehicle to increase departure angle, etc. I have also used it to tilt the rear end of a trailer down for easier loading. If you hold the button pressed you should be able to see the movement of the rear by looking out the rear view mirrors. It really only works under certain conditions which I can't quite remember. I think maybe the vehicle has to be stopped to raise the rear, not sure about lowering it again. I know that it will lower itself at around 25 MPH. Read the description in your owners manual. Also, you can get a special remote to allow you to lower the rear to ease in hooking up trailers.
