Default 99 disco11 new owner - q's and issues

Hi and thanks for looking at post.
Just picked up the above ride to add to a long list of foreign vehicles in my lifetime. Bought for my last, soon to be driving, teen for putting to and fro high school. Going to go through the whole ride and restore as it has several issues. I'll post them a couple at a time with this paragraph attached.
Body has 172, replaced engine with approx. 100 k due to blown engine
( previous owner).
Exterior great, interior near perfect. Tires decent. No lights on dash or warning issues. price $2200/denver, co.
* I Just bought new windshield oem , non heated, $208 installed.

1) drivers rear window won't work. cleaned and lubed all window 4 rear switches and moved them around. all work on the right pass rear.
I see you can re-solder ecu behind glove but that seems like both rears have to be not-working. True or false? Pr-owner said he pulled panel and hooked up power and the motor worked. It did actually work when I bought it and did not stop working until I was cleaning the car. My daughter did open and bang close the glove a couple of times so?
2) I hear the suspension pump ( self leveling) quite often so I imagine it's on the way out or is that normal? Mostly in my steep driveway upon starting.

Thanks for posting!

That would be on a D1, the D2 does not use the same sort of window ECU. Atached are drawings and operation from the RAVE, the factory set of shop manuals. If you like what you see, download the whole package. It also has lots of info on the SLS system. If you have secondary air injection it can also make a hair dryer electric pump noise at startup.

Would also be concerned about age of front drive shaft, if it has not been rebuilt to multiple grease fittings, it can snap at any moment and poke big $7000-at-the-dealer hole in transmission. Write up in our tech area on rebuilding front propshaft, under $100 parts.

The SLS pump should come on soon as it starts and the door is closed.
Probably small leaks in the air bag causing it to need to raise it after parking
it for awhile.

The pump comes on everytime you start up and sometime while driving, it will also vent everytime you get out and or unload anything from the truck. At your mileage, you will need to replace the bags because they do become dry and brittle and leak.
As for the rest of your truck, look at my major service at the top of this section and do the entire list including the drive shaft if it does not have 1 grease fitting on each of the 3 front u-joints.
