Default New owner question

I am looking to buy a 2001 D2 SE model from my neighbor. The truck has been dealer maintained and has 80,000 miles. I've been test driving the truck all week and everything has been great until today. I started the truck this afternoon and the three amigos appeared so I shut it down and restarted it and they went away. I was driving the truck again tonight and the amigos popped up again. When I got to where I was going I let it sit and went back out to restart it and they went away. Without having the codes read does anyone have an idea what it could be and should I be worried. I am paying $ 3500.00 for the truck and think that is a very fair price but the three amigos has me worried.
Thanks for your help

Without getting the codes read (can only do that if the lights are on all the time) it could be anything from worn brake pads to bad wheel hubs to a bad ABS modulator to God knows what.
That is a fair price for those miles and history.
Tell him about the 3 Amigo's and then offer him $3,000, you might spend another who knows what fixing the 3 Amigo's.

I'd buy it!
