op did you get the exhaust hole cut into the left side?

this is the bumper im planing on ... i think. cant wait to see pics!
Unfortunately, the exhaust cut-out is only available for the DI. I guess it has something to do with a routing difference between the I and II?

java...any updated pics with the rear bumper?

also, couple questions:

1. have you noticed whether the cross bars on the front bumper interfere with the headlights?

2. did you get the rock lights? if so, do they work well on the road as fog lights?

3. how do you feel about the paint job? seems high quality?

hicountry seems to be a great value!

Crap! Sorry to leave you guys hanging...

I've been deployed out in the Middle East for quite some time, but I am heading home in the next couple of weeks, and I'll be able to get everything updated!

Just before I deployed, I was able to get the rear bumper completely attached. The thing is SO solid now!! I'll post pics of all of the attachement points, side supports, and a little additional creative engineering I took on, just for fun. I am really happy with the final product.

I did not get the rock lights, so no idea on how they'd work as fogs. HiCountry is custom fab though, I am sure they'd be happy to create something that you'd be happy with. They're really good people, easy to talk to on the phone.

No trouble at all with the brush guard obscuring the headlights. Just as easy to see at night as it was before.

The paint job is something I am most impressed with. Let's face it, your slinging a 4,500 lb+ beast of a vehicle through austere terrain. Stuff's going to get scratched, no matter the paint, powdercoat, whatever. That's the beauty of the HiCountry stuff. They paint it with Duplicolor Truck Bed Liner. Not only is it durable, but you can buy it in a 16.5oz rattle can for $9! (Duplicolor TR250) It's textured, so it instantly fills gashes and the color blends perfectly without having to worry about spraying it on too heavy, etc. Saves a lot of hassle with getting something that's been powder coated, scratches, then you have to try and match the color, and it ends up looking like crap with spotty touch-up spots all over.

I carry a can in the storage bin. After wheeling I wash the truck, hit the shiny spots on the armor, and I'm good to go!

I've also painted my fender flares with it to match all the armor. Looks great and is a really simple solution to the fading fender prolem.

I'm excited to get back to the states soon! I'll put up plenty of pics and continue this thread then!

Cheers!
