Nice. Mind If I ask where you got them and how much they set you back?

We at british 4x4 centre have a few sets in stock. They are $425.00 per set and the plastic (Super High Density Polyethylene Plastic) is an additional $35.00 per set. The plastic really lets you slide easy and smooth on the rocks. Email me jgilbert@british4x4centre.com

Kinda looks like the nylon material they make furniture feet, cutting boards, and drawer rollers out of. Pretty low friction, tough stuff but I'd be really interested to see how it holds up when a D2 gets hung up on a rock...if it survives I'm guessing it would make sliding off easier. At least in theory, it looks like a good idea...

Any video of a truck hung up with these sliders and the plastic? It seems like a good idea, but I'm interested to see how it holds up. I might be in the market for sliders w/tree bars soon. (i.e.- between now and the end of January)

Are those bolts the only thing holding the sliders on? Are they just drilled and tapped? Does it have through bolts along the side where the doors close too? Seems like a good jolt might knock em loose. Definitely looks great!

Those are sweet man. I bet the cutting board material holds up fine. Its really tough at least on cutting boards. Makes me want to add some to my sliders now...to protect the powder coating. Is there any reason you didnt widen it over the bolts section? I've only grounded my sliders on a dirt pile so far, but I'm sure there is more to come in their young life.

I really like the looks of those.
Dupont makes a heavy duty Polyethylene Plastic that is really tough. If the stuff used on the sliders is anything like that, they'll be tough. Never would have thought about using polyethylene on sliders... would love to know how they hold up.

The sliders are bolted on with 10 bolts/rivnuts behind where the doors close with the bolts/rivnuts you see on the under side. A testing video is in the making and will be posted soon.
