Default New Roof Rack Installed! See pics!

Hey guys I picked up this Surco Roof Rack from a fellow Disco Owner earlier this month. I got the rack and the lights for $200. It has not been wired yet but I just got the adapter mounts in the mail last week and installed them the other day.

I never realized how much a roof rack can add to a Land Rover, but now I know! Sorry if the pics are a little big..

How much do all those forward lights draw when on at same time? Does alternator keep up? Any thoughts about lights to face 90 degrees left and right (police call them "alley lights")? Looks great!

Savannah, I think I'm going to put another battery in the truck and put HID's in those babies. She will be ready for any sort of Wes Craven or 30 Days of Night event.

Looks amazing!
Can you put the truck I'm the garage? I thought about the same thing but my truck would not be able to go in the garage (too high). Make sure you wire the lights through the relays so you don't fry the wiring.
Otherwise looks great!

Looks good.

Did your disco fit in the garage before the rack?

Actually before the roof rack, I could barely fit in the garage because of my lift. But now obviously I won't be able to. But honestly the rack is not that difficult to remove.

Humm.. I am still waiting to my house to be finished being built. I ended up with a 3" lift and the same size tires as you... Guess i won't be parking the rover in the garge unless I air down th tires, too bad since I will have a 3 car garage.

Holy lights Batman!

I've never seen a half rack mounted near the front like that without an RTT behind it. Hmmm.....

What was your overall height before the rack?
