Default New Rotor/Pad break in

Just put new rotors and pads on all 4 corners and bled the brakes, took it for a spin and they seem "soft" which I know they are new and won't grab like the old ones. Is there any certain "break in" procedure other than just driving it that I should be aware of?

Thanks

Get to about 35 MPH and lightly to moderately slow 5MPH each time and release allowing the rotors to cool a little. Do this for about 1/3 of a mile and try not to have any high speed braking for the first 300 miles.

That is what my brembo's said..

They will seem soft until they bed in properly. Just make sure not to hit them hard at high speeds. They will glaze and need to be re-surfaced.

What brand of pads and rotors did you install?
Did you do a full 3 pints of DOT 4 brake flush, do it next for a firmer pedal.

Mike
I used the EBC set from AB, yes 3 full pints of DOT4 fluid, all clear fluid in lines.

I just bought the EBC complete all 4 rotors/pads set for $494 from Atlantic British too. Everyone seems to rave about the pads at least, now I'm a little worried about the rotors not being as good? I didn't use the DBA rotors as recommended since the AB EBC deal seemed so good. Anyone else have thoughts on why his brakes aren't performing?
