Bought an 03 Discovery from an auction. The truck does run, but will not stay running. Apparently someone removed the Y pipe from the exhaust manifold. Is that why it will not stay running? And, do I have to go back with the stock Y pipe with the catalytic converters or something else?

Is it really loud when it does start? If yes, then go back stock or you can also buy a Walker or Magnaflow replacement online. There's hundreds of reasons it may not be running, but not having the y-pipe is not really one of them.

Paul Grant is a trustworthy dismantler here on this forum, He is selling a set of Y-pipes plus O2 sensors:

Rich, the Y pipe will be on its way tomorrow. Look for an email from PayPal with the tracking info.
Thanks,
Paul

Perhaps a failing fuel pump. They will stop working when they get hot then will work again once cooled off.

I've got a fuel pump I'd ship you for $45 if that's your problem. It's not too hard of a swap.
