New rubbers!!
FINALLY got my new tires, they came in today and I went straight ti Discount Tire after one hellacious day at work.
Those guys were a huge PIA, they were upset that I asked them NOT to use the impact wrench to put the lugs back on.
They wanted to charge me more for doing it by hand so I said "fine I'll just go somewhere else."
Here are before and after pics.

They are a cross between a A/T and a M/T.
Great all season traction, little sipping so you cant do 90 mph on the expressway in the rain, but who cares?
They wear like iron, not to much road noise but the dig right in and grab anything that you can throw at them.
And the S/T stands for Sure Trac.

I'm guessing the Discoverer S/T is very comparable to the Goodyear DuraTracs I have been looking at. I just hate to pay so much for the Goodyear name. I have the Wrangler Silent Armors on my Dodge and they're awesome tires for an A/T. The DuraTrac is a more aggressive version of the Silent Armor but not quite as aggressive as a true mud tire. I think in between an A/T and M/T is what I'm looking for. I hate the ride quality of a true mud tire.
I've run the Workhorse before. They suck when the road gets slick. I really like Goodyears 1-10 rating system for tire characteristics. Makes it really easy to compare tires.
My Silent Armors in 265/70r17 cost me just over $1000 with mounting, balancing and the free replacement certificates Discount Tire sells. If anything happens to the tires I get it replaced for free. I'm guessing the DuraTracs are going to be about the same price. I don't know when they came out but I don't remember seeing them when I was shopping for tires back in October. Might have been that they just weren't available for 17" rims so I didn't see them.
