Default New Springs

I'm thinking I'm going to replace my springs, but I don't want a lift, and I want to maintain the stock ride.

So, any recommendations for the cheapest springs that will maintain the stock ride and height?

It just depends on what you consider a "lift". As it is now, your stock springs are sagging and not stock height. So you probably won't maintain whatever you have now, but will get some "lift" with new springs.

Stock
Spring Kit Front/Rear Coil - Land Rover kits from Atlantic British

For a little more you can get new shocks as well with this set
Land Rover Performance Shock And Spring Kit (Part # 8573) | Land Rover Discovery Car Parts

But those do add a small "lift".

check AB close out / discontinued section I just put a set of OME LD springs in the front of my truck and it only raised it 3/4" over stock. I think I paid $65 for the set because they were being discontinued

drowssap, Did the new springs give you any noticeable difference in the ride or the handling? Also, I checked out the AB site. You paid $65 for each spring, not for both, right?

That's good advice to watch closeouts. I've have to start checking regularly.

I must admit I'm a bit hesitant to order from AB because they have spammed me so heavily since I ordered brake pads from them. I was getting daily emails (til I unsubscribed) and now actual mail. I find it kind of irritating when sellers assault me after I buy from them. A mailer every couple of months, or an email a week is about what I can tolerate. Daily emails is excessive.

I'm a bit surprised no one has pointed to some aftermarket Rover site that has cheap springs. That's what I expected.

drowssap, could you also give us an update on what the measurement is from the center of the front hub to the bottom of the fender opening?

If you're just looking for stock replacements, but aftermarket, I can get you a pretty good deal. PM me if you're interested.

briancbev I got the pair on some super one weekend close out even at 110 a pair I would go for them. The truck ride much better and smother so I guess my stock spring were pretty worn.
Big Jim Swade I think it was 20. or 20.5 inches
