Hey I am looking for some recommendations for new tires for my 2000 Disco Series II. The tires on there now are 255/55/18. No lift or anything on it. Just looking for a good, all-around tire.

Right now I have a set of Maxxis tires on them. They are ok. Drives nice, but they are a little loud.

Any suggestions?

 

There are dozen's of threads on this. I just upgraded to Nitto Terra Grapplers in 255/60-18's. No lift and no problems, but I wouldn't go any larger without a lift.

 

I agree I went with 255/60/18 also and wouldn't go any bigger myself. I hear good things about the nittos and I got the general grabber at2 which have done everything I needed from them......road, snow, and forest service roads. After these are done I will be moving to a 16 inch wheel so I will have more options and more easily available. Let us know what you go with. Good luck.
