Interesting suggestion about the Nissan radiator, but why? Rovers North sells a proline Radiator for $279. Is there a major performance improvement with the Nissan rad or were you guys just unaware of the affordable Proline radiator? Default Another quick question

Not overheating and the only time I hit over 200 degrees is while idling on a 90+ degree day in traffic with the AC on high, turn off the AC and the temp drops. Does not happen often and my average temps are still 185-197 city and highway. That said, next pay period I will be in the market to upgrade to 5 new Guard Dog retread tires for my truck. Been wanting them for months now and finally I could get them. Should I or hold off and go with the radiator and cooling hoses? I imagine since the truck is keeping good engine temps most of the time that i could get away with holding off another month on the cooling. But I dont know if beefy big tires will put more load on the engine and cause the engine temps to go higher. What do you guys think?

Nothing wrong with those temps Triar2!!

We are at 104+ degrees outside this week! AC on high, stop and go traffic lights, I can hit 206 setting at light, and it will stay there as long as i do. Cruising around im at 198-201. Im perfectly happy.

if a tire goes bad your possibly out the price of a tire, if your cooling system goes your possibly out the cost of an engine.
