Sorry for the newbie question, but I could not find an answer with the search. My wife's 2000 disco 2 has been diagnosed as having bad bearings and needing a new engine, by our dealer in northern NJ. Since the vehicle has such low mileage (66k), are there any mechanics in the area that can do this work?

There are a bunch of indie rover guys in NYC, foreign car center in astoria for one. I'm sure jersey has their share too I just am not familiar with them.

 

Shade Tree or Shady tree garage in Morristown has some Land Rover techs there, not sure where in Jersey you are but OK4WD is really good in Stewartsville, or Daniel auto repair in newark. If you are closer to the bridges here are some guys in NY including AZW in Mamaroneck where I go when I need stuff done and I don't have time.

i would just bring it to someone else, its rare to have something so serious go wrong so early. i wouldnt even tell them what you were told. let them figure it out.
