My code reader says I have a misfire in No.3 cylinder and I do not have tech manual as of yet. Anyone know which is No 3 and are they numered as orther v8 engines? My vehicle is a '04 Discovery II. This is the second time this has happened only last time it was a different cylinder and I took it to a shop where they replaced the wires and plugs.

 

drivers side, left side, third from the fan, try a new plug, if not its the wire, if its the wire good luck because they are a pain in the *** to change.

 

Thanks for the info, will check it out. Tried to order a tech manual and was told they are out of print.
