Hi,

On my way home from work thursday night, i lost almost all my pressure on my brake pedal and ended up using the e-brake the rest of

the way home. when i got home i checked for leaks, and located the leak to be right under the master cylinder.

Before i spend any money i just wanted to make sure that i am buying the correct part. Master Cylinder. Would i also need this Part Brake servo assembly

 

it sounds most probably like your mascter cylinder is either leaking from the resevoir and by that you dont have enough fluid or your master cylinder is bad.....the servo (brake booster) on your car doesnt sound like its having a problem...unless the brakes were really hard to press before and you hear like a hissing air leaking noise....but what i would do is refill the master cyl resevoir and bleed the brakes then try that if that works you only need a new resevoir and rubber seals if it still doesnt work you need a new m/c...also if all posible get a new m/c not a rebuilt one. i had to go through three rebuilt ones before they finally sent me one that was rebuilt correctly
