Default No Cruise Light

I have some looking around and it seems most cruise control problems are the vacuum lines. But my problem is that the light on the dash doesnt even come on when the button is pushed. I think I checked the right fuse all seemed good. Can someone help me out here, I hate not having cruise.
Thankyou
Justin

Both issues sound electrical related. I don't know how knowledgable you are in schematics or testing stuff. I'd obtain a schematic or diagnostic procedure and started testing switches etc. Otherwise a Land Rover dealership could always solve it for you. Sorry, wish I could be of more help.

I just checked my manual for my 99 D2 it shows that both items are covered by the same 20 amp fuse, #30 in location under the dash, are you sure you checked the corret fuse?
