Right which makes it an 02, mine is 9/01(not a great date in US history), and it didn't have the right T-case. I had to install a 99 t-case and Ashcroft linkage for the CDL.

Even in park it will role like it is in neutral. So does that mean that I have a transfer case problem as well. I guess I am just used to the old style 4x4s and am having trouble understanding why if I lose the front end why wont the back pull?

Power will go like water, path of least resistance. If it can freely move the front shaft, it'll do that. If the transfer case is spinning the front shaft it seems like it's a front axle issue.

OOk so that is something else that i will be changing also. I love the truck I have just tanning a few things that i have learned as I go. But this one is the biggest problem yet.

No doubt on front axle drive shaftspins fine didn't even make a grinding or any sound almost as if the pinion wasn't even attached.

Where did you get your transfer case did you ho New or used
