No electrical connection on hose going to throttle body.
Was checking the fluid levels on my wife's 03 and notice that this item isn't plugged into anything (small hose/with sensor/solenoid in line). Looked around, but couldn't find any electrical connection in sight.
Now, the engine was replaced with an 04...but I believe I used the same intake manifold from the 03. Which really wouldn't matter...they are both the same. Dug around behind the manifold, looking for some sort of plug I may have missed...but came up empty.
My 01 doesn't have this little do-dad...so it was no help as usual...lol.
Amazing you are not getting any 0440 0441 0445 codes. But the connector for that split from the MAF sensor connector then its split again to the purge valve (black harness connector) and another SAI vacuum solenoid valve (grey harness connector).
That may explain the P0444 code, open circuit-purge valve...after installing engine (never had it before). Just thought I was getting that because I eliminated the SAI crap after engine swap...never really gave it much thought until I saw the missing plug. Have the SEL covered up, keeps wife from complaining...some, and it usually trips a SAI code every so often (rig runs great, so why question things...lol). Just got my code reader back from a friend yesterday, will throw it on there and see what I have.
Okay, with a bit more checking...I see the errors of my ways. After reading your description, my thoughts were I routed the electrical harness wrong...but...it was the hose location that was incorrect. I'd routed the hose across the manifold, when it should have been fed along the drivers side valve cover and attached to a bracket just below SAI check-valve.
Had a basta*d of a time re-routing the hose, since it was in front of the SAI steel tubes behind manifold. Needs to be behind the tubes, so it can be brought around the head. Finally managed to get it fed through the tight area and attached to bracket. Cleared code, ran engine...A-okay.

Thank you, again for the help Gerry.
Brian.
Oh, I know what you meant! I thought you unhook those thats why it was on top of the manifold. hehe! But yes, It should be on the side attached to a bracket. I think I removed mine and its only dangling on the side now even the sai tube. The 2 bolt bracket is hard to reach as well. Cheers!
