Default Hose between valve cover and throttle body/EGR

I can’t for the life of me remember what it is called.
Anyway, I purchased a 97 Disco SE7 this weekend.
It had no major oil leaks I could see, the guy said it used 1 quart between 4000 mile changes. Looking at the motor that sounded about right, it has 119,000 on the motor.
I buy it, drive it 100 miles home.
When I got out at home, I detected the faint smell of burning oil. Nothing terrible, but there.
So I pop the hood. It appeared that some was on the driver side exhaust manifold.
I went to inspect the hose mentioned above and it came off in my hand.
The hose appears to be fairly new, but it has no clamps.
It may even be a bit larger than necessary because it came off with no effort or twisting.

Are there normally clamps on this hose? I know there are in the cars I have dealt with.

This is the hose that ventilates the crank case to the intake.

Thanks

mine doesn't have hose clamps on it, however it wouldn't hurt to use them.
changing hoses and putting on all new hose clamps is on my list, right after i get the damn rear windows to work.

If this is the hose that connects to the flame trap then mine didn't have hose clamps either. You may want to change out flame traps while you're at it. Mine sure was clogged before changing it. Best of luck with the Rover though.
