Default Non ACE BCU

I've got an 02 that I removed the ACE from, I've got a non ACE BCU does it need to be reprogrammed to use it to use in the truck?

You would need to have it programmed for it to work with your current ecu, or you need the matching ECU.

if you have the ECU and BCU you should be fine....worst case scenario you need a nanocom (or someone with one) to re-sync the ECU/BCU (yes even if they have same vin they can lose this), but it doesn't happen very often. I think the only thing you might end up with by swapping is your speedometer might flash at you...again a nanocom can fix this.
