Default Non-ACE combined PS reservoir?

Has anyone found a way to perforate the partition in the non-ACE power steering reservoir in order to make use of the fluid that sits unused? One could theoretically double the volume of fluid available.

You mean perforate the dual chamber reservoir 'W/ACE'? Just use a hot bent metal rod and melt a few holes through bottom of partition, or get a cheap used Non ACE reservoir(if you have ACE torsion bars removed).....

You are only doubling the volume if you have ACE disabled, otherwise you are just sharing the volume, and if one side hose fails, then you lose both volumes

The non-ACE reservoir doesn't have any internal partition. There's no "unused" fluid in it.

There is a partition, but it’s more of a baffle I guess, Fluid can move around from one side to the other but pumping it all out for a fluid changeout can be a little tough.

Exactly. The baffle goes about 2/3 of the way up so there isn't really much circulation there. I like the idea of a hot bent rod. A hole or 2 at the bottom of the baffle should do the trick. Thanks.
