Default non-repairable driveshaft?

I have a front driveshaft with a damaged centering pin (not bearing).
Is there any other solution to this other than replacing the driveshaft?

its a stock height 04 Disco. Thanks.

The centering bearing can be replaced as well. If you wanna replace the whole thing, try toddco. Thats where i got mine.

and let there be a hyper link
Land Rover Discovery II Front Driveshaft (Prop Shaft)
and he saw it was good.

DO NOT DRIVE THIS TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the driveshaft breaks it will destroy your transmission.

What he said.

I pulled mine out after vibrations around 40-45 and uh... the centering ball was FUBAR haha. I was a lucky one I suppose.

........purchased a rebuilt one off of ebay for like $350 and after a week, developed the exact same vibration. At this point I'm wondering if the driveshaft input bearing on the tcase is shot and killing the centering ball on these things, ala. same 40mph vibration. I've got a limited number of issues which would have been temporarily fixed by a "new" driveshaft only to reoccur again.

I want to get it fixed. I haven't driven my DII since I bought the RRS a few weeks ago (DII is at a friends house) but I did swing by - her battery is toast and I kinda miss her.

It's possible the pin is damaged. On the other hand, it's possible it's not. Open it up (5 or 10 minute job) and see.
