Default Non-Vented or Vented

I have a 1996 Disco 1. I know that it hasn non-vented front and rear disc brakes. But some times when i look online at new rotors there are 2 options vented or non vented. I personaly never seen a Disco 1 with vented brakes. But when i see that online they say for nonvented calipers and the other says for vented calipers. IF that is true is there a was to get vented front disc rotors because i much rather have vented ones.

D2's have vented front rotors with solid rears. Some people have done a conversion on D1's using calipers from a Defenfer in the front for more stopping power, kind of expensive. If you want to stop quicker, go to DBA rotors with Kevlar pad, synthetic brake fluid and stailess steel brake lines.

I saw the DBA rotors for about $120 a pop at Expedition Exchange. Does that sound right?

The best place to buy the DBA is thru,
http://www.dap-inc.com/kits/brkkit.shtml#Di where you can buy the pads and rotors as a set for less.
