Not really a question ... still learning.
The connector on mine was tucked up on top of the steering column where I could hardly see it. I had to look several times in order to locate it (connector was hidden). Once I pulled it down there was enough there to hook the scan tool to.
Well it was found. I needed to get it emissions inspected. The guy found it. Failed the obd test. 7 codes. no SES light. hmmmm.
I hope that I didnt buy one of those trucks where a PO simply removed the wire from the SES light in an effort to hide the problem.
The codes were all related to cylinder missfire, so I will change all the plugs soon and see if it works out for me.
