Update: Pulled the plug and vaccuum line on the SAI solenoid, no change. Keeped on ticking. I am now convinced its the cam, lifters, or oil pump. Maybe, all three.

My tick was caused by this cam bearing. (As far as I know) Here's a terrible picture of it, but you can see how far the lifter ate into the side of it after it fell out of the block.

It took a few minutes for the ticking to stop after I pulled my SAI solenoid plug.

No reason to pull the vacuum line.
